I wanna know, if you could have ANY Muscle car...between 1960-1975. What would it be?

For me, it’s a 1972 Oldsmobile 442. I would go restomod of this thing. I don’t care about the “purist”

I wouldn’t go green, as below, but would probably do a charcoal with a bit of pearl.

I am not a fan of Mustangs or Corvettes. Too small for my taste back then. I’ll tell ya, a lot of people laugh at me, but if I won the lottery, and set in motion of restoring cars, the olds would be first, but next in line would be a 68 Riviera

Dam we knew how to makes some cars back in the day. Took them for granted coming up. Grew up riding in Chargers. Dad had a 69 and a 73.

Actually some muscle cars are currently in production.

A friend of mine just bought a Hellcat. I went for a ride the other day and was blown away by it. just over 700 horsepower. The new version is 797 horsepower.

The 2020 Mustang is sporting 760 horsepower in the Shelby GT500 version.

There are a couple of others out there too I believe.

There aren't as many as back then, but there is a bit of a resurgence.

I like seeing the new versions of some cars borrowing heavily from the older versions, it's a great look.

I always wanted a Porsche. When I was a kid, this is the car that I thought I might be able to afford.

It probably doesn’t belong in this thread but it’s from that era.

A guy that ran in the same circle as me in High School had a father who loved those cars. He had 3 of them and one looked exactly like that. He had a 1964 and I think the other was a 1966. Neither of those styles had the good looks of the later version. It's much sleeker where the older ones were too boxy for my taste.

That Chevy blue is an all time classic for car colors. Same with the School Bus Yellow Ford had.
