i refute this claim.

didn't the rams have a 1st round pick that they kept trading down from and ended up with taylor rapp? probably in 2019 after the superbowl year. they kept trading down from the 31st pick.

.
Yeah I think you're right. But they did trade out so the generalization holds up. They're just copying what's being thrown around out there.

Anyone recall who was available there at that pick we traded out of? I don't remember being too butthurt about the dropdown but it was a ways back.

How many opportunities do NFL Teams get at not only reaching the Super Bowl BUT actually winning it??? The Rams saw their opportunity and went after it!!! Personally, I like Draft Picks but I would gladly trade them for an opportunity MCVAY AND SNEAD have given them!!!

The bottom of the first round and top of the second round didn't turn into much from that year outside of Deebo Samuel

Just looked at the draft list from 2019 and look who went at 36... Deebo "Talked too much shit and got burned" Samuel (just had two of you guys respond lol but I was curious too). I was pretty high on Risner iirc.

Three picks after we took Rapp the Seahawks took Metcalf. :wow2:

What's even crazier we'll have +40mil come off the books next year
Goff
Gurley
Brickers
Cooks
Yeah but the combined cap hits for Donald, Ramsey, Kupp and Woods (because of their restructuring prior to the season) increases by $50M from 2021 ($35M) to $85M (2022).
