Damn. Well I will say Bennett is 32. I don't see him being nothing more than depth

Excellent rotation option for Jim Schwartz. That defense is gonna be vicious if that front seven stays healthy throughout the season

He's on the downside of his career for sure but you can never have enough rotational depth who can pass rush at DE. I wonder if this'll be the end of Chris Long there. They have until a couple days after free agency begins to make a decision on his contract I think due to a small roster bonus I think. But rotating Bennet and Long... not bad idea probably to keep two good pressure guys fresh.

Interesting that Philly traded for him. Look for them to cut some serious salary! They're almost $10 million over the cap right now and Bennet gets like $8 million this coming year.
 
I wonder where the shecocks cap will be heading into free agency. Seems that they may be clearing some cap room in order to make some splashes.

Dumping Bennett and Sherman and adding the two cheap players they acquired would put them about $32 million, roughly.

Bad timing. This free agent crop is not that good. They will be overpaying for less than star talent.
 
Bennett is garbage. Doubt he lasts long in that locker room.
