We released Defensive Lineman David Olajiga 6'3"/315 with no recall.
We must be feeling pretty good about our newbies, 5th rounder Ty Hamilton 6'3"/300, Bill Norton a 6'6"/335 UDFA and Da'Jon Terry a 6'3"/330 pounder UDFA.

Welp, there goes my dream of having him on the practice squad.

It's a good thought about our newer defensive linemen being more likely to make the team than him, but even with Olajiga, we only had eighty-eight players on a ninety-man roster. I don't see the need to cut him unless there's off-the-field stuff.

I was wondering about the reasoning behind that cut as well.
The guy had ideal size to rotate in at nose tackle or end.
Plus they had just signed him to a reserve/future contract.
He was a little older at 27 but had a free spot on the practice squad as a international player.

Don't know if this is another resign at a cheaper rate type of cut like Derion Kendrick.
 
Cut -Anthony Torres, Tight End with injury designation.

Wait what ?? This guy wasn’t going to make The Rams roster.It’s not always true when a player wears the same number as another player.

Example is Ahkello was wearing #23 & Kyren Williams was wearing number #23 in The training camp of 2023 - UCI .

KAM Curl is #3 and has established himself as a starter vs. Kyren Williams who NO RAM(1 kid did) knew he was going to be in this situation as a starter( resigned already).

We could see that when The Rams signed Britain Covey & then traded up & drafted Konata Mumpfield.

They both loooked stellar on one play up the middle with those 2 players Demarco Farr loved The Beef !!!

Read this article of 3 players making the team vs 3 player that are going to get cut.

Pooh Paul Jones will make The Rams roster.I don’t see the other 5 players making the 53.

Then again Lumpkin sure is playing himself into a roster spot.

IMO - I have a feeling he won’t even be The UDRFA who makes the 53 ? It sucks to have a player that is SO fun to watch.

IMO - which I’m reaching,but just looking at FACTS that actually have little barring ?? Playing time is playing time.How The Rams really feel is still a little mystery compared to other Ram Players.

Vs. Lumpkins— There’s still 2 more preseason games,but 2 of The Rams starters Saturday (Dallas) I hope sneak on the practice squad as well.Feel like I don’t want to be the 1 who says anything.

Reeder vs. Dolac ? Does that become a thing ?? My question is about Pooh Jones.(does he curiously find himself on IL?)

BTW - The Rams didn’t bring back Reeder & brought JJ43 back instead off ILL(53) for the playoffs.
The Rams also had Rosenboom & Hummel - Speights which made only 3 vs 5 ??

RB - Wow - tough choice. IMO The Rams have to cut 2 & keep only 3. Hoping that they can keep a couple on the practice squad.

s an example-Davis Allen makes the first catch against Dallas & then sits.Maybe he gets pushed & who know if Ferguson gets a couple Snaps with Torres getting CUT ??

Cool - makes my post above less likely to happen then of Ferguson playing. Want to go to the NO, scrimmage Thursday. Should get reports from it anyways.

Players are fighting to make the squad.Who knows really only going by views & process of elimination.

lol- I don’t know what security will look like. Only 20 minutes away from Carson.Not sure what field they’ll be scrimmage ??? Would be Great if allowed.
