Per Jourdan's speculation:
Alaric Jackson will be team's starting LT...
Coleman Shelton is the team's best option at C...
Brian Allen likely a post June 1 cut...
Noteboom to G once he returns from injury...

Shoutout to those that have posted about this, wanted to post a link to the full EP. IMO worth a listen/watch

Why restructure (pay cut in his case) and cut Allen? Is there a financial advantage to that? Noteboom not a powerful mauler at G so are they looking more at a past happy offense because I thought we wanted to run the ball more effectively?

Good point about Aubrey Pleasant. I wonder why Detroit fired him before the season was over, but he has a track record of coaching young DBs.

Jourdan is definitely an insider, but I think we’re a long way from knowing who will be starting on the OL on opening day.

I def see your point in regards to the IOL but when it comes to LT, I don't think there's a lotta mystery there.

- We're not bringing in any FA LT's...
- We've only had 1 pre-draft OL visit (Grant Gibson, C from NC state) and looks like 7th rounder/UDFA just from different rankings i've seen so I think it's relatively safe to say we're not taking any OL high in the draft

Ofcourse freak injuries can always change things but it's obviously pretty cut and dry either Noteboom or Jackson would be our projected starting LT and we're getting an insider to confirm it's looking like Jackson who will be getting that nod first (after already having a good season at LT last year)...

Jourdan is always a good listen to and watch.

The way it sounded the Rams are again looking at the current roster options. I hope Bruss can show he deserves a starting spot.

If that is the plan, we are doomed! :sick2:

Bump.

Don't ever recall a player getting a restructure and then cut shortly afterward. Wondering why or how this would benefit either Allen or the Rams
It was a pay cut and not a restructure. I guess they gave him some options of be cut in March or take the reduction in pay.

Maybe it has something to do with insurance coverage. Like if he needed a few more months on the roster to get lifetime coverage from the league.

If he’s cut in June or not, does anyone think he could be relied on to start? Can he even be relied on to backup?

I call BS right now. It just shows that I DON’T KNOW JACK . Then again I’m questioning this gal.
I know a lot of the players & coaches like her & she knows more than almost all reporters.Asking excellent questions, but then there is a case of her maybe thinking she knows more than she does?
-We’ll see,but I don’t see Joesph Noteboom playing Guard.I was a BIG BELIEVER he could from his rookie season.

All the things you read & here come out. Story about special RT.

Special teams &!Raheem Morris examples.

Why so many here disregard the fact that Allen, when healthy, is a plus starter at Center is a bit of a mystery. OK we should have injury concerns but perhaps we should wait and see before writing him off? I like him and his dedication. He went to a pro bowl if memory serves - almost certainly voted there by his peers - so does that make him potentially an important pivot if we are to play well again on offense?

His type of injury doesn’t go away. It’s just like Gurley. He was once a great RB but his knees said “no more”

It could simply be that his coaching style didn’t mesh with Campbell’s. Maybe Dan didn’t like him? Maybe he wasn’t the “bite their kneecaps off” type of coach.

He’s got a proven track record coaching DBs.
