Just wonder about Russ Yeast he just got CUT ? Of course next Man Up & Kam Kinchens is a nice player to develop. The Rams have a lot of special teams guys as well that are DB’s.
CB is the main problem IMO,more so than safety.

SF is a loss waiting to happen. Chances of pulling that one out seem like a longshot at best. So get Kinchens in there this week in practice and get him ready. By the way he was the guy who dropped Harrison on the extended play where Murray scrambled left on that long drive they had. Kid's gonna fuck up. Might as well get it out of the way early so he'll be ready for the second half of the season.

I'd rather have a kid in there playing hard, even with the mistakes, than a vet who's gonna take a siesta when the going gets tough. And yeah, I know, maybe JJIII is dealing with some real shit. Not accusing him of anything here. But the timing of it... I'll just say there are times when avoiding a game you know will be rough might be attractive. So I'm a bit suspicious.

Onward and upward. Sit Brown's overrated and oversized ass and put Davis in there. Maybe he won't cut it either but it won't be because we want to continue to define insanity in our depth chart structure. Sit Reeder. Appreciate him as always but if Speights can't help us we fucked.

We have a limited amount of temporary IR (which they can return from). I wonder if he might be put on the yearlong one to save room on temp IR? Saying this because every game we need to put a new player on that IR. At least one.

I may be wrong but I don't think there is a limit that we can put on the list at one time. The limit is how many we can bring back during the season which is capped at 8. I did a dirty analysis of this in another thread and JJ3 would make 4 or 5 players we would likely bring back that are eligible. Some players like KT Leveston and maybe McDermott don't count towards the 8 since they are exempt having happened in preseason. So right now we're looking at Puka, Avila, Williams, Noteboom, and now JJ3 that they'll likely bring back. Add on Kupp probably and that's 6 already. This doesn't include Murchison and possibly McDermott who are on IR but i'm unclear on if they'd count towards the 8.

Either way, not great. We got 2 spots to spare for whole season assuming all 6 of those guys come back. Hopefully Kupp won't require IR though.
 
The calendar says it's 2024.

Rams' IR says it's 2022.
