Be surprised if he was there at 26 but the Rams are looking ahead to post Stafford.

So how many heads will explode on this forum if the Rams trade up to 19 or 20, before the Steelers, to take Dart?

If that were to happen, you have to have faith in McVay's evaluation of him. Obviously they wouldn't trade for him if McVay didn't really like his potential.

I know I would have zero issues with that. If you can draft a franchise QB you absolutely have to do it especially if your starter may retire in 1 to 2 years

My head wouldn’t explode, but I would t like it. It would feel like a forced pick up me. Kind of like Tutu.

If we trade up for him, I am all in if McVay sees that. :thumbsup1:

This isn’t F-them picks mode but we are shooting to win, now.

Dart is not a sure thing and not worth OUR ONLY top 2 rounds pick.
No pick is a sure thing. You stay and draft any player at 26, they could bust.

Yes. That could happen. I hope it doesn’t with Snead but…

It’s a swing at adding more talent to a team already banking on Stafford at QB for 2025.

If Dart was not overvalued because of his position, he’d be projected as a round 2-3 guy. So that guy is a bigger risk than someone that has round 1 talent. So, it’s a bigger risk.

I understand that being a QB and needing a QB of the future would be justification for picking one in round one.

Any name that "somehow" gets leaked to the media was planned ahead of time.

Don't believe anything you hear this time of year right before the draft. Obviously we're playing chess at an advanced level and hoping for the teams who only play checkers to take the bait.

Gamesmanship Bruddas

An agent can leak info so that can be out of the control of the Rams.

True.

Yet another reason not to believe anything you hear at this time of year. LOL

I know this though... our franchise keeps real business inside their offices for the most part now. Ten years ago we were worse than an open book and a laughing stock to well run franchises. Today the league watches us for innovation.

Good, do your work with the kid, lots of stuff he hasn't shown on film so get him on the board, ask questions.

I don't like the prospect high but I like the process.
