We’ve all seen his critique of how poorly he felt that Hackett coached the team. Asshole Face isn’t doing any better. He may be doing worse. His team made Justin Fields and the Bears look like a good team.

We all may hate Asshole Face but he is a good head coach. He has the track record. Did anyone expect the Broncos to be this bad?

I wouldn’t put it past him to tank on purpose to get Caleb Williams. He had a good QB and maybe he doesn’t want to be a head coach without that luxury.
 
Do the Broncos have a first rounder or is it owed to Seattle in the trade for Wilson?

Looks like they have their 1st but not their 2nd.

Problem Payton has is Wilson is a broken QB. He can't be fixed. Payton is a long term hire and he's just starting to build his team. They will be bad this year.

Yes and we need Wussell to fuck him over by winning a few meaningless games on the schedule.

Bronco's defense has been horrendous. Their offense actually hasn't been awful. I can't see them getting the 1st pick. Bears seem intent on it, and, more power to them. Anything that prevents the cards from getting Caleb, I'm down for.

I don’t know about Asshole face, but it looks like Chase Daniels is tanking for Caleb.
 
As much as I hate asshole face the more chances of a top tier QB we can't get going to the AFC the better. So whatever... all though fighting to beat the Bears killed a lot of the possibility of a top two pick.

On another note, Nick Wright said he thinks the Rams should have traded AD, Stafford and Kupp and tanked the season. I used to think he was pretty smart. I don’t think McVay could lose on purpose.

Yeah zero chance of that. He would need to change the head coach too in order to do that.

I"d rather have McVay than Caleb. We finally have a top coach who sets a great culture so I'd go to great lengths to keep that going.

The Broncos are coming off a come from behind win on the road - they were down big.
Odd timing for tanking musings imo.

Statistically speaking, Wilson is having a pretty typical year. And if you look at their games, the only one you can really fault the offense for is week 1 against the Raiders. In the other three games, the defense did not show up. Asshole Face shouldn't have chased off Evero imo.
