Way to proceed is tell Limmer he's got a small window after Avila's return to show he can do the job with those two OGs next to him. And then when Jackson returns you go from there, depending on how the line plays with those guard spots settled.
 
I think Jackson probably doesn't get back into the lineup. I'm sure Snead will attempt to trade him before next season.
 
With Limmer emerging, I think you are 100% correct.

Jackson should be depth when everyone is back and healthy.
Given his pay, Jackson will start when he comes back.
If there was a way to not eat a big cap hit, Id likely cut him after this year.....depending on the other interior OL guys.
