McVay's presser said he hopes Higbee will be ok, but couldn't speak to his status and that they'll check on Spoon, but it looks like he got his hamstring.

Not entirely sure that either of them is great news, but not done for sure or anything.

I heard Higgs was in the hospital as a precaution after a chest injury. You don't want to mess with those as we've seen what happened to other players getting hit there. McVay said he thinks Tyler is going to be okay.

Kelo had ice on his thigh I heard it was a hamstring which could be either minor or bad. He will probably miss some practices this week and they'll see how he is for next game.

I was relieved that Puka and Kinchens came back in later after leaving the field with apparent injuries.

Update: On GMFB this morning Tom Pelissero spoke about it and McVay meant Higbee is okay health wise but didn't have an answer to game status for the Philly game. I would think he'd play. He wasn't back from his previous knee injury yet for the 1st game vs the Feebles in Nov.

I am worried about Spoon. It looked like he pulled a quad or a hamstring while running, and those soft tissue injuries do not often heal in 6 days (we've got a short week). If they do, they are often prone to re-aggravation if you push it. He was playing at an elite level. He randomly can do that when he gets hot. We don't have a CB1 right now in terms of "name recognition" but Spoon is definitely providing us with one in terms of output. Remember his first stint in horns where he was playing above his head as our CB1 against the other team's top WRs, somehow killing it, and hanging around the top of most statistical categories in the league for a good month or two before the wheels fell off? He is streaking at just the right time again. This defence will look totally different without him, and we sure could use his length vs AJ BRown. He has become a bit of a machine at getting turnovers too. Praying for a good update and that it was the most minor of sprains.

Witherspoon's agent must absolutely suck. We've gotten 2 seasons of some top level play from him at near-minimum pay.

Spoon's issue has always been his down games where he implodes. Last season he had enough of those to kill his value. This season he had them early on and lost his job due to them. But the run he is currently on is remarkable for him. He has been very consistent since his return to the lineup.

I really hope he's ok. Because I think his leadership back there is needed too. We are very young on that back end.

And his length.

He takes plays off too. Occasional lack of effort. But he's had long stretches of good play during his career.

He looks like a legit corner at times. Also seeing good things emerging from Durant.

Ahkello has pulled his hamstring 3 other times in his career. Once in 2020 and twice in 2022. Each time he missed multiple games in his recovery.

Every injury is different but my expectation is he will be doubtful on a short week.

Shit we need him vs Brown.

I am thinking the same. Though this appeared to me to be a quad, not a hammy. I could have sworn he grabbed at the front of his leg on the replay - not the back - and also had some sort of heat or cold applied to the front thereafter. A quad strain is generally better than a hamstring one. But I am considering him OUT until further notice for this game, and potentially, for the following week should we advance.

Is Kyren ok?

I thought he was injured but don't see a mention.

Spoon I'd be surprised - he looked pretty hurt. Which stinks because he has been playing quite well.

Higbee might play I think.

This is exactly what I saw. And, although I don't have a reference, I do recall hearing his injury as being related to his "thigh".

All that said !!! Why the HECK was he on the streets??? I saw him in training camp 2023 wearing 23.I’d ask someone or say that #23 on defense is sure looking good.No one knew who he was.

Funny when some thought that it was Kyren Williams.I’d say that’s Whiterspoon. Looks better #4 than #44. Still blows my mind how as if you say he was covering top WR’s taking The Rams to the playoffs.

You can’t honestly think or say without him The Rams make the playoffs the last 2 seasons without him. He’s been that in Trigal to the defense.

Just hope he is alright, Go Rams
