And you KNOW that I got her a Rams Cheerleader outfit for Xmas!!!

I wanted to get a jersey or a onesie, but the Rams are one of only two teams in the ENTIRE NFL to not have onesies for infants. It's outrageous!!!

Anyway, pics are incoming. My son is marrying a wonderful woman who has another child (another blessing!) and we can get pics now that they are home... Mom wanted for them to have their first pics together. Whatever Mom wants.

The wife and I are thrilled.

We're hoping to kick off a wonderful 2021 a little early.

Oh, and b/c it's me... we've already started making the "SERENITY NOW" jokes... much to Mom's dismay...

Yeah, 10 lbs is big, but most of our kids were between 9lbs10oz and 11lb2oz, so a 10lb grandbaby is right in the range.

The other grandchild just turned 6, is a ray of sunshine and absolutely is 100% our grandchild. We just look at it as a bonus b/c one less set of diapers and bottles and all that! LOL

And she's already calling us Grandma and Grandpa.

They live with us which is an amazing blessing. In some ways being able to get out on your own is great and I grew up that way, leaving home at 19 to get my own place and start my own life, but this multigenerational household deal is really cool, too.

That is a serious healthy size baby. Hopefully mother and baby are doing well.

Mother is doing very well, but also understandably very sore.

Baby is resting and being passed around the family like a hot potato except no one wants to give her up.

We are all washing our hands before holding or touching her... EVERY TIME...without fail. So, it's a lot of hand washing, but it's the smart move.

I just wish mother and baby could spend more time in the hospital. The US is weird and not in a good way about this. They send mothers home basically between 24-36 hours after delivery unless there are obvious complications. That might be okay for baby, but Mom just dropped a basketball and she needs a little rest.

Thankfully in our situation, we can provide that.

Works for me b/c there is all sorts of stuff for Grandpa.

Try finding stuff for Pop-pop, Da-Daw, Pa-Paw, or w/e other names get used.

So yeah, I'm good with Grandpa.

Oh, and baby slept most of the night first night.
