If Davante Adams is on the trade block, should Les make a call?

Adams is on the back 9. Hell he might even be on the last hole. He's still decent yes but the amount that the delusional raiders FO are probably asking for him would be too rich for my blood.

I'd love him if I thought he the difference we need but if a receiver is targeted target younger like tee Higgins is even go cheaper like Sutton
 
Absolutely not, I forbid it. Keep playing with Atwell (oh, fate, am I really saying this?), Whittington, Robinson, and Johnson. We can win with them. Getting Allen back and getting Parkinson more involved will be a huge boost. And then you have Nacua and Kupp - hopefully - coming back after the bye.

For the record I think he is a great player. This team is already minus their 2nd round pick. If he goes anywhere it is probably the Jets.

No. Give the young guys a chance. I really like our WRs corps. It would also be way too many cap dollars committed to WR.
 
Adams and Garoppolo did not get along when they were both on the Raiders. He's not going to want to play on the same team as him again.

He wanted to play with Carr and has been sour ever since the Raiders traded him. The only thing that'll make him happy now is playing with Rodgers again.
 
I have a feeling we would at least make a call. This off season we were in the Mike Evans market thought we had him signed in FA.

It would be nice but him and Kupp make around the same they can’t dish almost 60 mill to 2 wr as much as I like Adams unless kupp on the trade block I don’t even see that as option

Take him in a 3-way trade and flip him for an enforcer in the middle of the D. Not sure there is one available, but if it was possible, that's what I'd do.

It makes sense why McVay wanted Evans.
Hes one of the most physical receivers in the game.
Adam’s is still good, but he seems unnecessary when we have other guys coming up and playing well.

Adams would be a great addition. He’s much better than Robinson. It would be like the Von Miller acquisition or OBJ.

The only way it works is if the Raiders eat some of his contract. Or if the Rams traded another big contract like Jonah Jackson for Adams.

He gets 25 million this year and is a likely cut next winter at $15 million dead money hit. Nobody is paying him $44 million next year.

I doubt the Raiders get more than a third round pick. Maybe they even take a fifth just to be rid of him.

He should know the offense playing under LaFluer
