I was under the impression there was a 24 Hour "Vent Rule" here at ROD after a Loss!! Let's move on now!!
This is a short week of practice until Sundays game!! " We Lost Week #1 GET-OVER-IT!!
Let's now START game planning the 'Hag's game!!!

Yep on to the next one. Funny with how bad we played the Hawks fans I talk football with at work are still really nervous to play the Rams. They know we always have a chance at beating them. Wilson's ankle has them worried as well.

It was the first game of the year, where they were shutout by an awful team. There is currently no hope. If they perform the same way against Seattle, get used to it. If they actually play well, this will all be a distant memory.

Thats cool and all. But should the Rams win a game this season
are you gonna lock the celebration thread after 24 hours?

Nothing wrong with people venting as long as its in the vent tread and they dont attack other posters

just my 2 cents.

This one hurt bad... Probably 3rd or 4th on my all time losses. :/

Celebration Threads are never going to be locked here. Seriously. That should go without saying.

We've always locked Vent Threads after 24 hours. Standard operating procedures here. You've been around long enough to know that.

There are plenty of sites that dwell on the negative... some live in the negative... this isn't one of those.

Monday Night's misery was a heavy blow for all of us. We'll be able to discuss it here as adults just like everything else.

Vent Threads are for VENTING... BLOWING OFF STEAM... THERAPY. It lasts 24 hours to act like a caveman in. Then it's over. After that, we need to discuss our issues in a non-caveman manner.

This is the typical game the Rams get up for and they need this win right now so it's easy to think they're gonna pull it out with a typical Fisher bounce-back victory. Plus Wilson is hobbled which is bad news for the Shehawks.

But the Rams won the last two vs Seattle, and I think they're gonna get everything Seattle's got in this game. Also, it's a homecoming of sorts for Carroll, so he's going to get a LOT of love from LA fans before and during the game most likely. And lastly, this offense is worse than anything we saw last year, and Case is starting again.

I'm usually a Kool-Aid guy but my confidence is badly shaken right now. And I think this team might be closer to a slide than many realize. Hope I'm wrong, but I wouldn't put any money on the Rams in this one even with the points.

This is where I am after that simply EMBARRASSING LOSS:

1. I wonder if Fisher's coaching has run it's course with this team.

2. I wonder what the Rams are gonna do to get some real offense going. I'm not calling out the players...I'm calling out the offensive system...IT STINKS!!!

I haven't listened to anything or anybody after that game. When I turned it of, I vowed not to listen to ANYTHING RAMS related.

All I'n going to do is turn on the next game when it starts...and see what the Rams do.

I'm with you Merlin! I usually bet the Rams No-Matter-What But I hate betting with "Scared Money" So I'm probably going to sit this bet out!
