looks like Japan has approved this to start happening. The general thesis is to use them for human Organ donation. UNTIL someone says they have rights. Then in 2045 the best player in the NFL is a Human/Bear hybrid. This may be the beginning of the story of mans end! Lol

And they're worried about it accidentally growing a human brain. This is awesome and couldn't possibly go wrong. Brilliant.

About time. I wonder if they'll eventually be able to do it with organs cloned from particular humans. If you have type 2 diabetes, for instance, get a new pancreas that is a genetic match but which has not had environmental damage and will not require a lifetime of anti-rejection meds. Ditto with any other damaged organ. A much better option than this:
