Death sucks. All three this week were larger than life figures.

Damn.

He was a fun loving Dude. Years ago when he was still wrestling, I used to frequent a beach bar in Clearwater called Sheppards. They had the absolute best bikini contests there every weekend. The Hulkster used to frequent that place for the same reason I did. He had a big Miami Vice style boat he would pull up to the place on. Back then, all I had were 2 jet skies. I spoke to him a few times and we became drinking buds... he bought me drinks all of the time and payed my tab several times without me knowing. Dude was down to earth and just a solid guy. He wasn't there to be seen, he was there to watch the babes just like the rest of us!

My son just told me that it was a heart attack that took his life.

A goddamn red-blooded American icon. Gonna miss him. RIP to a true legend.

The Hulk was originally from Georgia. He sure didn't talk like it. His persona transcended like a boss.

I used to live in Chatsworth, CA near the hulkster. We’d see him riding around town on his Harley waving to everyone.

He was loved as an icon for his bigger than life personality, but also loathed for not always behaving as a role model. Rest in peace Hulk

When I was nipper my old man’s pal was working in Norway. He had satellite tv that showed “American” wrestling. He recorded tapes of the wrestling and sent them back to England for me to watch because he thought I’d like them ( he was right). This was around the time of Wrestlemania 3. I was immediately hooked and loved the Hulkster. Then in 1989 the WWF as it was known then had its first overseas event in London at the Docklands Arena. My dad, unbeknownst to me, bought tickets and surprised me. The main event was the Hulkster against Randy Savage. Obviously the Hulkster won and I was absolutely delighted. To say I’m gutted by this news, and on my birthday, is an understatement. I’m just pleased by @Selassie I story above which shows what a great man he was. RIP Hulkster.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Brudda across the pond!

How many years young are you now?

I used to like the guy. After years of true stories about his treatment of other wrestlers and being so incredibly self serving I don't care. Sorry to be a downer.
