This is the bittersweet, but you have to win in this league.

Bold prediction: If McCarthy keeps losing in Green Bay, he could be going to Cleveland. I do not think GB will be for two losing seasons in a row.

Man, if McCarthy isn't winning in Green Bay, I have no idea why he would win in Cleveland

Agreed, McCarthy has an elite QB at the helm and a defense that hasn't been good since his second year as HC. I doubt he'd be able to turn around that sinking ship.

3-36-1 as Brownies head coach. No matter the talent level, that is not enough wins. His winning percentage is 218th out of 219 coaches who have coached 40+ NFL games.
Jeff Fisher to the Browns?

I agree! This is McCarthy’s next job. It’s clear Rodgers and him have a rift going and the QB will win that battle. Plus he and Dorsey have history.

Yet Jason Garrett somehow is employed as a head coach in the NFL. Lol

I called it, I said one or both of them would be gone as soon as Monday.

It's the best thing for the team. They have a real GM now, the lousy ownership should stay out of the way and let that guy do his job.

I'll wager that they don't hire a retread or college coach either, he's going to go for someone who has some offensive chops to be HC and develop the rookie Mayfield.

Make sense that there might be a run on young, talented OC's given McVay's success.

I just hope teams realize that they suck, and will continue to suck, because we got McVay and they don't.

They have the QB and other talent in place so yeah it makes sense to follow the lead in LA and SF. Though they don't seem to have the QB of the future in SF they do have the young offensive mind as HC.

Next up I think we will see Pat Schurmur fired. The Giants are 1-7 and could go 1-15 or 2-14. He can't survive that. He may not even make it to December.

No chance.
He's Gettleman's guy and it as also his choice to go with Eli.
