Here in Cumberland, MD I use Atlantic Broadband. My bill this month went from $165.00 to $219.00 in one month. Yikes!!!!!

I was paying 142 for Charter Internet and cable before I moved.

Once moved Charter was not in the new neighborhood, so got Xfinity. Its 84 for internet and streaming TV.

But the streaming is not dependable and Direct TV has a special going for 65 I can get ATT Internet and Basic Direct TV for 12 months.

So Ima bout to jump. Need to find out if I'm locked in a contract with Xfinity first.

No premium chanels on any of the above. But I do pay 10 bucks extra for Discovery and such

We have DirectTV Now, which is there streaming service. It's pretty dependable. I think we pay $40 ish for the base service and another $10 for some extra stuff, a premium channel of some kind. Not sure. I don't watch TV.

We fill in the gaps that the streaming TV doesn't provide with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu.

That’s exactly how we do it, fill in the gaps. Prime has the best picture, it’s pretty amazing.

I find myself watching alot of YouTube lately as well

a little under 200 bucks

thats with unlimited internet , and cable with about a bazillion channels we don't watch , and like 4 cable boxes with DVR's , battery back ups and a bunch of other things I'm forgetting , oh and plus the phone we never use..........lol

We got Frontier FiOS. The customer service stinks. Verizon may be the actual devil, but damn were they good with delivering internet and tv.

Upgraded to the 200mb/200mb internet and got every channel possible including all the pay channels and with the wife wheeling and dealing, the bill should be just over $200. And unlike the cable services, FiOS or ftth tends to overdeliver even during peak times.

We first had Bright House and we all LOVED the local news station, Bay News 9, but they are now part of Spectrum and I dunno about other places, but there's no reason to buy big internet from them... some folks have purchased 300mb down/50mb up and they're lucky during peak to get 20mbps. I'd lose my freakin' mind if I had that. They also describe their internet ONLY with respect to downloads. That's disingenuous. I ALMOST signed up for it seeing as they put in a LOT of new bandwidth and are selling up to 400mbps, but the latency is crap which would cause my family of gamers to riot and all that throttling during peak times would cause no end of complaining...plus, the upload isn't nearly enough for us.

That's what my wife thinks as well. She does that every few months with satellite radio.
