Guitarist Jeff Beck passes away at 78

One of favorite albums was “Truth” with Rod Stewart on vocals. Bought it again on CD. Great stuff. RIP!

My all time favorite guitarist. The greatest concert I ever saw was at the Greek Theater at UC Berkeley in 1980. I really only knew his current album (There and Back), so there were a lot of songs I wasn’t familiar with. No matter. They were indelible. I started buying all of his old albums and went on a musical journey.
“Blow by Blow” is still a landmark album.

I am saddened but nostalgic and grateful.
