Those bastids better vote him in this year.

I don't think they will vote him in. 2 other receivers with more career yards (Steve Smith & Reggie Wayne)in this years finalists. Just my gut feeling.

The nominated players, along with their positions, years and teams are:

  • Jared Allen, Defensive End — 2004-07 Kansas City Chiefs, 2008-2013 Minnesota Vikings, 2014-15 Chicago Bears, 2015 Carolina Panthers
  • Willie Anderson, Tackle — 1996-2007 Cincinnati Bengals, 2008 Baltimore Ravens
  • Jahri Evans, Guard — 2006-2016 New Orleans Saints, 2017 Green Bay Packers

This is a very stacked class. Good luck to Holt but the odds might be against him.

Idk. I see Suggs and Steve Smith in there but who else is a slam dunk? Eli? He has a chance because a lot of others have been passed over or first year making it after only being a semi finalist before.

I think he has a half way descent chance this year!

I'm sorry but Luke and Fred don't belong. Neither does Eli with his 2/3 as many Ints as TDs. Jared Allen maybe but not just yet. Willie had 4 truly fine years but.... Jahri? I honestly don't even remember him. Same with Yanda. Adam Vinatieri? Come on... he's a fucking kicker.

Torry better get in. Isn't it also his last chance?

Torry has nine more years before he's no longer a modern era candidate and slides into the senior pool.

Thanks. I thought there were a number of times you could be on the ballot.

I feel like Antonio Gates and Adam Vinatieri are both locks as well.

Jared Allen and Reggie Wayne probably have the same odds as Holt.

Man idk about gates but vinatieri probably since he kicked like what? 5 championships? And I think he holds all kinds of kicker records.

Just saying them two Steve smith and Suggs, that’s 4. I I think they’ll throw Tory before any others since he’s been waiting tbh.
