Some good news for Rams: CB Ron Bartell out of neck brace. Bone is healed. Didn't need surgery. Said he is definitely playing next season.

That is great news, it's good to know this early!

Bartell Feeling Better

- Rams CB Ron Bartell paid a visit to the Russell Training Center on Friday and was in good spirits after having his neck brace removed for the first time Friday morning.

- Bartell did not need surgery on his broken neck and it healed with time.

- Bartell has been cleared by doctors to do whatever he wants and he plans to play in 2012.

- In other good news, he and his wife had a baby boy named Emir in the past few months.

- Great to see Bartell back in the building and happy for him to be up to speed. He had no doubt in his mind about returning to play and he’s excited to get back to action.

Even if Fletcher can't make it back, with all the corners we have tried out, we are bound to be in a decent position at the draft, and can hopefully focus on other needs. Unless we can get the best corner/kick/punt returner, because we need playmakers on both sides of the field.

Cool. Much like Amendola, he's "lucky" that he had this severe of an injury early so there's almost a year of rehab for it. And it's not a leg or arm injury, which is even "better."

And im pretty confident that Fletcher will be just fine. He came back quicker than anyone predicted last time he was injured, and he didnt have the same leg hurt both times (I think). Thats a good thing, right?

Maybe he'll limp from both legs, so you won't notice he's limping... :hehe:

Odd to have a neck injury referred to as better. :hehe:

Here's to a good news offseason followed by a good luck 2012 season.

Well not so much in Bartell's case. But for Danny, @ least it was his elbow and not a leg injury.
