FF - Goff or Brees?

The homer in me says to start Goff but i want to make the right decision.

My son, JeffMyWords, has the same decision and is now taking Goff all the time (Min was exception). He'll use Goff for the Eagles and Seahags games. The above is from Yahoo FF. Brees scoring 40+ pts, like year's past, are gone though though the potential is still there. I vote use Goff!

Same question I face every week my man. Goff or Brees.

Win and I’m in the playoffs.

Yahoo has Goff projected for 19.29 and Brees @ ATL with 17.51.

I have to think that Philly can force more pressure up front than ATL and just has a more powerful defense overall. Woods still out.

Goff May have to score a lot to keep up with Philly.

Hard call. All things even I would go Goff. But with defenses considered Brees may be the better start.

Comes down to the opposing defense.

Goff is facing an Eagles' defense with a passer rating against of 77.0 (4th).

Brees is facing a Falcons' defense with a passer rating against of 92.3 (19th).

TBH it's a toss up and you can't go wrong either way.

If I had Drew Brees, I'd roll with him. Atlanta has a shaky defense. Match up is better for him.

But I have Jared Goff, and going with him over Carson Wentz. Jared Goff is clearly in charge out there and the Rams are more pass happy. Plus, he has TGII to check down to which is good to rack up some points.

When healthy, Winston has produced consistently for fantasy purposes.

The whole point of that play was the throw it over the defenses head and let your taller tight end go up and get it.
