Would have helped if we'd had a real QB. But even then...

True.

Wow, I missed hearing about that one. I think ED was a supremely talented RB, but IMHO he's also a selfish, narcissistic, arrogant jerk.

Here's a couple of lines from an interview of him back in '88:

Eric Dickerson told interviewer Jim Gray on NBC’s “NFL Live” Sunday that he is not bitter about the trade that sent him from the Rams to the Indianapolis Colts on Halloween last year. But. . . .

Asked if the Rams were trying to severely damage his career by trading him to the Colts, Dickerson said: “I think so. I think they wanted to try and teach me a lesson, send me to a place that I would not like, and would probably struggle the rest of my career, which I think backfired in their face.”

About Greg Bell, Dickerson said: “You know, that little dwarf should learn one thing. He is not in my caliber. If Greg Bell came here or if I went back to the Rams, he would sit on the bench behind me the rest of his career.”

Asked about John Robinson and Ron Meyer, the Colts’ coach who also coached Dickerson at Southern Methodist, Dickerson said: “If you want to know who I have more feeling for, I have more feeling for Ron Meyer, of course. . . . If both of them were out on a lake drowning, I would save Coach Meyer.” Said Gray: “Just let John drown?” Dickerson: “John’s on his own.”

About Jim Everett, Dickerson said: “Jim by no means is any friend of mine, never was a friend of mine.”

Bitter much?

I dunno. It might not have been the best move to offer ED "crappy" seats. He's a Rams legend and a very public face of the franchise.

Of course I don't know the situation. How many tickets are we talking? Are the seats actually in the terrace level suites?

Dunno. I primarily think this is just another distraction and we know how much talking heads want distractions. Especially if they can use them to tear down the Rams.
Yeah, and they know that he'd talk trash about it without regard for the team. You'd think the team would see this coming if they gave him lesser seats.
But then again, maybe that's the plan ......... piss him off again. :beer2:

ED is wrong this time around. It's not about you dude. Take the seats offered, hang with your fellow Rams greats, and then get that field access after the game I am sure to enjoy the afterparty.

He's going to regret not attending. This is one you don't want to miss IMO.

Eric THE RAM Dickerson should have been given 2 seats in the owners box.
That is how I see it.

says quite a lot that he didn't get an invite. not one of the 100 suites.
He's probably letting everyone know he has crappy seats in hopes that someone will invite him to their suite.

He could take an autographed jersey or helmet and his ticket to get a better ticket.

As a Laker fan, I see all this ED stuff very similar to Magic with the Lakers, and I definitely like both dudes for what they did for both franchises, but goddam they can be a pain in the ass.

Agreed. But in those moments you don't get what you want sometimes being a baby door is the lesser option.

This is incredibly disappointing.

And he’s actually surprised he didn’t get an invite into a suite? Jesus.
