They should follow the rich tradition of sports teams in Cleveland and call themselves the Cleveland Burnt Siennas.

I'm an Indians fan and I'm bummed by this.

Wahoo was offensive, and now gone.

But Indians? We're all Patriots, right? That's a team name. Yankees has a worse affiliation than Patriots in my estimation.

Redskins I get, but Indians? I don't get it.

Considering that Indians is a false term (unless they’re talking about people from India) I get that. And who knows? Maybe they’ll win a championship under their new name?

Native Americans refer to themselves as Indians. It’s not a big deal.

I vote for the Cleveland Blues although my Wife countered with now they would have two teams with their names being a color.
