Lets get it going.

Obviously containing Murray is key. I think we actually got Miller for this exact reason. Our edges need to be disciplined in this one. Stafford is going to have a great game.

Would be great to win the first ever MNF Playoff game!!!

25 carries for Michel first off. Minimum. Cards defense is shitty vs the run, but very good vs the pass. We have to be balanced in this game. Our pass pro will not hold up if we get all fucking pass happy and 9 will turn into a football dispenser. It is what it is. Oh and that doesn't mean 15 carries for Michel and 10 for Akers. It means 25+ for Michel minimum. He's the guy who has been energizing our OL. Feed him.

Contain Murray secondly. Scary thing about the Cards is any given game Murray can go off. When he's on he's amazing. But the good thing is he tends to not be on when he's in the pocket. Rams should be ready for this.

These teams know each other well. If we do the two things above we will win this game IMO.

Agree with all of this. Hopefully Connor not playing, not sure his or Watts status.

Stop their running game and contain Murray.

Same thing we did in AZ but I think they are a little more healthy.

Ride Sony and let the Oline wear them down. If that is the heavy package so be it.

Control the flow of the game and TOP.

Really has nothing to do with this subject and it doesn’t matter. They have plenty of time to get ready.

Face it folks...with Fuller out...THE RAMS HAVE SECONDARY ISSUES against the Cards!!!

Not that they can't overcome them...BUT they have to be addressed!!!

There's a worry because even though Rapp has come on lately we know there are coverage issues with him.

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT...MORRIS HAS WORK TO DO...especially after a MONUMENTAL DEFENSIVE FLOP SUNDAY!!!

More creative packages to get pressure and force quick throws to protect the secondary. There are adjustments that can be made.

So if all of the Higher Seeds win in the NFC, we would go to Green Bay on a Short week to face the Packers coming off a bye. GREAAAAAAAAT.

This is at simple and cliche as it gets....Win in the trenches. The reason we couldn't beat 49ers is because their lines dominated our lines. If our defensive line can get to Kyler and more importantly, we can stop Conner running all over us, we'll win this game....

....outside of some extraordinary bad performances of players giving the game away

It’s the same as every other week in the NFL where a team plays Monday followed by Sunday. Not that big a deal. They know what’s in front of them, already played in GB once this year.

Cards first, win and then get to business.

Rams need Williams and yes Rapp to be ready to play.

The obvious answer is to contain Murray. That means amongst other things Floyd has to be disciplined in his pass rushes. Let's hope the Rams can get pressure with a four-man rush. I hate to see Morris blitz too much but, he has to keep pressure on Murray. Get in Murray's face and don't let him escape. Let's see a little creativity in the pass rush game especially if the front four can't get pressure on Murray.

Controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball will go a long way to a Rams win. On offense let's see some of that McVay magical play calling. Don't be predictable. Stay ahead of the chains. If the run game isn't there go to the short passes to stay in front of the chains.

Fuller did not have a good game last week. Knowing Morris he'd go ahead and play Rapp as a deep safety where he struggles. Not much of a loss there.

Burgess looked good, let's roll with him.

This ain't rocket science! We know these things must be done to win:

1. Keep Murray under control in the pocket which means:

2. Good coverage in the secondary.

3. Keep the run game in check. The Ram front MUST not just get after Murray. They have to play the run as well as the pass...so they gotta be disciplined because it can be a lot tougher if the Cards are able to run and pass!!! We know how dangerous Murray can be buying time to throw.

On offense I always worry about McVay because he can get like "Mad Mike Martz" and go overboard offensively...and the next thing you know you're scratching your head with his play calling.

I think a "short run/pass ball control" game will kill the Cardinals...AND CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY MCVAY FORGETS TO GET THE BALL TO HIGBEE???

This is a tough game folks...especially with the Ram secondary loosing Fuller. They have decent back up help and Rapp has been playing well lately.

Guys like Scott, Burgess, and Deayon have filled in nicely...but can have their moments. Secondary communication is a big deal Monday!!!

Rapp may be out too. Concussion protocol.
