One of the top-ranked offensive linemen in this year’s draft class appears to have suffered an injury at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Thursday.

According to multiple reports, Ohio State interior lineman Billy Price stopped his bench press after a few reps. Price then walked off while grabbing at his left shoulder/pectoral.

Price was a four-year starter for the Buckeyes and saw time at left guard, right guard and center during his time in Columbus. He spent the 2017 season at center and was named both a first-team All-American and the Rimington Trophy winner as the best center in college football.

Price has been projected to come off the board during the first two days of the draft. An injury could alter that perception, although any speculation on that front will have to wait for further word about what happened on Thursday.

This could be huge. If the injury requires surgery it could drop him out of the 1st perhaps or at least down to us. If we did resign Sullivan, do we take a swipe at him and redshirt him for a year.

He was expected to get near 40 reps according to some article circulating yesterday. Hope it's not serious.

Big adjustment lifting weights in the pros when you can’t be on roids

He would be a real steal if he lasted until the 3rd round! He was projected as an instant Starter!!(y);)

Looks like partial tear. Great news for the young man, as a full tear would have meant up to a year lost.

no biggie.....works out well if he's on our board....I don't think he's the best center out there anyways....dude from Iowa is a stud.

Yeah I agree James Daniels looks like the best center. I believe it was a concern that he couldn’t keep on weight. Forget that talk. He is my favorite for Rams in round 1

I feel like a dick saying this but I hope he could have a bit of non serious tear so we can pick him up in the 3rd/4th. Even with a harsh injury that still seems highly unlikely.

As long as it's the truth brotha, who gives a fuck? We didn't cause his peck/biceps to tear....there are worse things that could have happened.

I wonder why that Army guy wasn't there? Toth....he played like he'd test out the roof.
