Rams have to be looking to either move Quinn or draft/sign a capable replacement this offseason. Has to be one of their top priorities.

I wish him the best. Hope he can get back to where he was before all these injuries starting mounting up. Hopefully it's as a Ram too but who knows.

Goodbye Mighty Quinn... I will miss watching opposing LT's hold you on 80% of all snaps.

You will always be ' The Mighty One' in my book.

Makes sense .... no one should be playing at this point with an injury that could potentially aggravate into next year and any concussion is that.

The Rams also promoted OL David Arkin and DL Morgan Fox to their active roster...Loved Morgan Fox in Friends and Arkin in Million Dollar Arm, he was hilarious.

Saw this coming. I hope Quinn can return to his old self.. the guy was dominant.

And we could never see Cunningham in a Rams uni ever again. He's a FA, and with a new coach - does he re-sign?

I hope so, he's possibly the best offensive player we have when going off of production vs. time on the field. Unfortunately, if I was Benny I'd be wanting to go to a winner or someone who'll give me more playing time instead of coming back to this train wreck unless the organization makes huge strides between now and March to convince him it's worth coming back.

It does appear time to move on from Quinn. It's too bad because the guy is great when he's healthy. He just can't seem to stay healthy. Quinn's too expensive to be a sideline cheerleader.

Interesting but hopefully not the end for Quinn. We just don't know enough about his health.

All the talk of cutting Quinn is too early.

He is absolutely still capable of getting healthy and being a plus player for years to come.
Guys with Quinns level of talent have been able to overcome some major setbacks for a few seasons and then come back and play at a very high level.

Quinn is coming off of a back injury and those can take time. If we were pushing for a playoff spot, I bet Quinn would be cleared and playing.

Maybe we can restructure his contract?

I fear that we could have seen the last of one or both of these guys in a Rams uniform. Benny might want to go somewhere that he can get more playing time, and could probably start for some teams.

Quinn ... gotta worry about his long term health given this development. From what I heard, he actually practiced this week, which adds to the mystery of why he's not playing. Given his medical past and the problems he had this year earlier, is suspect there is more going on than we know.

Cut Quinn: yay or nay?

Don't cut him, but he needs a serious medical evaluation in the offseason. And if he can still play but at a level that is less than what we are accustomed to, we may want to consider him as trade bait.

That being said, for his own health, I'm wondering if he should be playing at all anymore.

So was your avatar picture taken at the opening day game last season? I got a couple pictures of the mighty Quinn with his kid on his shoulders. Sure seemed like a great guy.

To answer your question, I don't think we can cut him after placing him on IR. My heart says keep him around though but my brain says maybe it is time to try trading him. Dunno. It would pain me to see him in another uniform.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd trade Quinn, given the right offer. In my honest opinion, he's not going to be the player he was - which is a shame. He's a likable guy and talented. But this is business.

I do not believe that I would release Rob Quinn until a clear conclusion on his physical damage at this time. IMO Quinn is done in the NFL as a full time RDE. He might bring some value to this team as a designated pass rusher as a part time role. But the problem with this role is you are paying Quinn All Pro money & his cap hit is could be near 11 million in 2017. Quinn's cap hit was over 11 million this 2016 season. I have contacted @flv to get the real figure low down.

This team does not have a legit pass rushing DE on the roster. All of our signed DE's are primarily run stoppers. So a release of Quinn leaves a gapping HOLE in our DL. Truth is keeping Quinn on the roster still leaves the Rams with a gaping hole in our DL. Looks like a no win situation for the Rams team.

This is why I brought up a few weeks ago about moving Aaron Donald around to get some edge pass rush but many timid members here did not want any of that....so here we are where the Rams are plugging in Eugene Sims @ RDE post:palm:.
