I would imagine Rhaney and Goff have a good rapport since they most likely practice together since the start of the season. Hopefully it won't be too big a problem.

My biggest concern would be, who calls the line protections? If it was Barnes, is Rhaney up to speed on this or is it 1 more thing to add to Goffs plate? I would feel better knowing that Rhaney can handle it and Goff can concentrate on coverages and who to throw to.

Greg Robinson will be calling the line protections. ;)

Are we sure Rhaney is next man up at Center? If I had to guess that's who I go with but I thought I remember people talking about Donnal playing some center as well.

Raney has been with us a few years now. I'm sure he knows the protections. It's his chop blocking I'm worried about

Rams C Tim Barnes (foot) did not practice at all this week and is questionable for Sunday. If he can't go, Demetrius Rhaney will probably make his first NFL start, snapping to Jared Goff. DE Robert Quinn (illness), DE Eugene Sims (concussion) and CB Lamarcus Joyner (ankle) are also questionable, but were all full participants on Friday. Todd Gurley (thigh) was limited today, but didn't show up on the injury report prior to that. Also questionable, but yeah, playing.

Great, last thing we need is center to QB exchange problems.
Like @Young Ram said, I don't expect the exchange to be a problem because Rhaney and Goff have been working together in practice. where the problem with the New Center comes is with Rhaney calling the Offensive line play, reading the "D"!!

I liked him a lot too. He was claimed off waivers by Chicago and he has been playing Guard for them.
Only because of injuries to their oline. He couldn't make this team he would not have been better than Rhaney.
