Good. Glad to see some fire out of him, because he's not been playing up to his potential.
Leads the league in QB hurries and has given up 6 sacks. He's CLEARLY better than that.

In a contract year too I agree he is better than that, but maybe have somebody like Joseph next to him has hurt him.

Barksdale is in a contract year and it bodes well for us with the part of his play in the amount we resign him at. I guess it's a hidden fortune?

Not if he continues to struggle next year and we resign him.

Certainly can't help much, but Joseph must suck on an epic scale if he's dragging down both Barksdale AND Wells.

Just Barksdale, Wells, is sucking totally on his own accord.

His power and driving ability would be a nice fit there, and he wouldn't have to deal with speed rushers as his lateral quickness can be quite lacking. It'd be worth a try.

That's what I was thinking. If we did have a guy who could play RT...either in FA or through the draft this off-season.

I wonder if Joe can play OG?

Don't remember hearing us try him there. I would think Oakland tried him there before his release.

Would be nice if you could slide him into RG and add a quicker, more athletic RT early in the draft since it appears to be a strong draft for OLine.

From a pass blocking perspective, RG usually gets more one on one work. His arm span and being in a box would help but he seems to be slow off the ball at times. So he'd still be a target for speed guys whether inside or outside on the right side. LG might be his better position since it often has more combo blocks.

Just a ton of question marks with this OLine and can't overlook it any more.

OT is supposed to be the strength of this draft. I just wonder if Barksdale would want to switch to OG seeing as he's a FA?

I don't know. But I am torn on whether to re-sign him with how he's played of late at OT.
Same. It scares me to make another hole on this team(specifically O-line) by letting him go, though. He played a lot better last year, if my memory serves me. He wasn't lights out or anything but he was plenty serviceable. This year....I don't know, which makes me wonder, like others, if it has to do with Joseph or even Wells.
