It would be pretty funny if he was trolling everyone. Wonder what that wink was actually all about?

I can't think of many reasons why you'd wink there. And the whole 100% line definitely makes the wink even more understandable.

After last week I don't think Fisher could argue with Davis' performance.

I can't hear a damn thing...

"But there was one chuckle-worthy moment from last Monday. It's at the 22:43 mark, but for the full viewing experience you gotta start around 22:10 (and yes, the irony of video of a radio show having nearly inaudible sound levels is not beyond me)"

The wink was towards someone in the crowd IMO and possibly because he knew the question was coming, it could be at this point that Fish is milking the injury to Hill to give the kid more time and keep the pressure of being named the permanent starter till you fuck up,but I reject the idea that Hill wasn't hurt and may still not be 100%.I always thought Hill had a bit of a gut on him and wasn't in the greatest shape and that the quad that was strained was an old quad prone to re-injury.
AND why wouldn't they want Hill 100%? The replacement is doing well enough they have that luxury

Just start Davis. We know what we have in Hill. But at the same time Davis upside is much greater along with his mobility. And right now he has that offense clicking.

A Troll by any other name is still a TROLL! by line "3K @ 3K"! After reading his stuff, is there any wonder why he doesn't put his True name to the article!?

That crafty prankster Fisher. Davis all along and he had our bowels in an uproar!

So this what constitutes news these days. Maybe Fisher saw someone he knew off camera. Maybe the nice waitress had refilled his glass of vino.

SB Nation used to be a fantastic source of information. Then they felt pressure to keep up with the SEO focus of Bleacher Report and they ousted many of their best bloggers, sacrificing content for quantity.

It's a shame really.

Or, maybe Fish is trolling SB Nation as they threatened to release the wink story, which was really Fish Winking to his mistress in the audience, but to avoid geting in trouble with his wife Fish convinced SB Nation that he was really winking about the Davis/Hill situation :)

Tomorrow's headline: NFLdelity?: The Story of Jeff Fisher's Mistress.

Way to go Stranger.

Fish is a single man guys. He got divorced like 6 years ago I think.

That was a heavy duty wink right thar.

Hill does seem a bit out of shape honestly. And definitely a gut on him. I can see trolling about Hill though to alleviate pressure of naming Davis the starting QB.

I called it.

I'm with you. I was never sold on Shaun Hill's "injury." Maybe he had a mild injury but if that was the case he's got to be fine by now.

This is still more interesting/newsworthy than anything on NFL.com.

Also, off topic, but we should get a sportsbook wager going so we can bet on how many games Davis will start till Hill comes back. Set an over/under on it.

@-X- , could you or one of the mods make this happen? Seems like a fun wager to me.
