In about a half hour or so, I'm going to take the board offline while we make a switch to a different forum software. The forum will be offline for a couple of hours (at least) while we import all users, their posts, and all of the forum content.

This is a necessary endeavor.

Once we're up and running on the new board, I ask everyone to take advantage of the "Site Help" forum for all support, comments and questions. That forum is already present here and will be up on the new digs as well. We anticipate that it will take a little bit of getting used to, but we've tried to make the structure and navigation as close to this board as possible. In the end, I think everyone will very much prefer the new forum over this one; as it will be faster and far more technologically advanced.

Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.

Oh, this is very very nice. Great switch, X. Who makes this current version of forum software?
 
Looks off on my iPhone and I can't stay logged in. I'm gonna try on the desktop.

My old bookmarks for the site aren't working because the "Rams talk" actual link is different. May want to check if it was that too. I thought the site was down all day lol.

There's not the old avatar links anymore? Does Shaky still have my old Fisher picture that he made?:D

He probably does. I'll look for it in the meantime though. And replacing your avatars is pretty easy now. You can upload one from your computer if you want, and I encourage people to get into their profile page and click everything just to see what it is you can do in there now.

And for the record ... I'm learning this stuff myself now too.
 
I have to say, I really like the new stuff. I LOVE that new "Alerts" feature.

Glad to hear it. And we might as well use this thread for support questions, as it's convenient. Not many people are even navigating off this page right now for fear of dividing the forum by zero or something. lol.
 
How do I access old threads that I've posted on? That's something that's been bothering me since I found out about the new layout.

I know a quick way to see the threads you've posted in recently is to look at the icons for each thread. You'll see a smaller icon of your avatar next to it.

That's the easiest way. Or you can use the search function and put your name in for older posts.
 
Ok a suggestion. Can you send us 5 bucks instead of a stupid trophy?

Is there some way to show which threads we have posted in?
 
I know you old bastages (like me) are gonna have trouble finding your way around initially, but we can lean on some of these young kids for their techno-savvy until we figure it out.
