Most of us remember when a whole team was wiped out in an airline disaster. I've never seen an American NFL's team plane go down in flames, but I got a thrill of fear thinking of all the planned international flights to Europe, South America, Japan and China that are proposed.

What if a Rams' team flight went down and everyone was lost?

Besides the tragedy and heartbreak over the disaster, how would the NFL deal with that? Would they treat the Rams like an expansion team, requiring the other 31 teams to give up a player from their squad and the rest of the team filled by UDFA's (during season)?

How would that work, do you think?

Wow, pretty morbid post. Is this in response to Allbright saying we are moving up to draft an OT?
Get Alt! (That's a happy post!)

Much more likely to happen to a MLB of NBA team, but lets not put too much thought on this subject.
In life, if you dwell on bad things too much bad things happen to you. Its like inviting evil in.
If you spend your valuable time thinking positively about life and acting on them, good things happen to you.
Karma is real.

I don't believe in karma at all, but was just posting on a dark thought that I had, like I said the OP. For such a humongous, multi-billion dollar business probably has such a plan.

You do not believe in Karma at all ? As in, if you do bad things to people bad things will happen to you ? That is pretty much how it works.
Not sure a pro team has some plan in case every single one of their players are all of a sudden dead.

I believe in God and his son Jesus, not the beliefs from Hinduism or Buddhism. You asked, so I answered...but you do you.

It could just as easily happen on a domestic flight.

Let’s hope that it doesn’t happen at all.
I know, but my trepidation to being on a flight over the deep ocean, seems to be even more deadly. Especially on flights to London!

The odds of a team plane crashing are worse than Rod all becoming 9er fans!
NFL teams fly about 10-12 times a year. MLB teams more than twice that much. Odds are better for the Dodgers than the Rams.

Judging by their last 8 games, this may have already happened to the Dodgers!

Considering the coaches and other members of the personnel team are likely on board, that team won't finish the season. The NFL would cancel the rest of its games. I assume they'd hold an expansion draft after the season, and the team would start anew.
