I started this thread after watching Mike McCready when he was with Mad Season.
Check out, "Live at the Moore".
it's on YouTube.

Check out his guitar solo at about 4:40 on the song, "Wake Up".

Some musicians just make you wanna yell FUCK YEAH! Stevie is/was that guy for me.

My wife and I were going to go see him and Joe Cocker at a small venue in Salem, OR. We decided to save the money and see him next time. He went down in a helicopter just 2 weeks later. By far my biggest regret ever when it comes to music.

I grew up loving the guitar, and Stevie was that way with me as well. Somebody that you could just listen to and say, "Hell yeah. Thats how it's done."

His passing was untimely and way too early.

"King of the sloppy lead" but also named one of the top ten most underrated guitar players in the world by Rolling Stone Magazine. I give you Neil Young and my favorite song for his guitar solos.

"Hey Hey My My Rock and Roll will never die!" Thanks for sharing the Neil Young jam. Great song from a great artist.

Also might want to try "One of These Days" by Pink Floyd and enjoy a David Gilmour performance.
