Adrian Peterson says Eric Dickerson should be nervous

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has 1,600 yards in 13 games. That puts him on pace for 1,969.

He’s aimed a little higher than that.

As he told Peter King after Sunday’s win over the Bears, Peterson is shooting not for 2,000 but 2,106 — one yard more than the all-time single-season record held by Rams running back Eric Dickerson.

Earlier this morning, Dan Patrick asked Peterson if Dickerson should be nervous.

“I think so,” Peterson said. “I think so.”

I agree with Fish in the JFS posted last night. When asked what fans going to the game could expect he said "If you think the last game SF was a physical brawl wait till this week."

The Vikings not only have AP, but they have a very good line that he's running behind. The Vikings are one of those teams, even listening to AP talk earlier in the week, everyone knows they're going to run it. They don't try to disguise it or sugar coat it. We are going to try to run it down your throat. Can you stop it?

This defense doesn't seem like one to shy away from a challenge though haha. I can't fucking wait till Sunday.

So I just heard this on the radio driving back from my brothers. In 6 of his last 7 games he has a rush over 50+ yards, and I think a lot of those were for a TD.
