49ers have no love for Rams

I think we should start a viral campaign to "cancel" the 49ers name. After all, the 1849 Gold Rush was accomplished with a significant amount of slave labor (look it up!). Shouldn't that be just as big a reason to change a name as the recent examples of the Washington Redskins and Cleveland Indians?

Seriously, I really don't care about such things in the grand scheme, but wouldn't it be fun to fuck with the Whiners and make those Northern California Hippies feel guilty enough to stop wearing 49ers gear?

I went back further and saw him offering tickets to people on this site for games in December. And at one point he asked where he could find Ram fans to sell his tickets too.

The day he sold that one, he had been ranting about McVay in the game day thread, even though the Rams had beat the Bucs.

He put his ticket for the NFC Championship up for sale, right after the Bucs game had ended. My honest opinion was that was a rash decision he normally would not have made. It was heat of the moment.

If he had taken 24 hours to cool down, he might not have done it.

If he hadn't gone onto the site and bragged about it - that's what pissed me off

Even worse then that was the genocide of the Native American population and stealing of their lands for the potential of a gold rush profit. I concur, a name change should be considered.

Agreed. Let the record show they shall be appropriately referred to as the ‘San Francisco 69ers’ going forward.

Sure.. but then they’d just become victim celebrities and do the “victim” tour and just calcify the support and love of their fans.
