Some tips from a whiner fan after watching his team get beaten by the Falcons. On defense:

1. Take away the short - Every time we get beaten, RBs get five yards per average, we miss tackles on short passes - these will lead to big gains. This is what the niners offense specializes in. Keep Jalen off Aiyuk, he is the deep threat: we need Jalen's tackling skills in the short.

Once the run is neutralized, the whiners will be one dimensional.

2. Dare Jimmy to beat us deep - He said the niners rarely went deep and rarely utilized their WRs for that task. How many times has Garbage Poll beaten us deep? Keep Durant or Hill on Aiyuk and cover the short with 1 deep.

On offense: 1. Mix it up on the run. Bring in an extra o lineman as Ryans likes rushing only 4. When they pack the box, run a jet sweep.

2. Confusion on the run and spreading the field lengthwise will lead to play action opportunities. Make things easy for Stafford.

Special teams - Kick it high and short. The niners are middle of the pack on ST. Let them try and return it. Take that risk.

Overall - Be hungry. Every time we play the damn whiners we come out flat. For once, be aggressive and know our playoff lives depend on it!

Yep. Honestly ALL we have to do on defense is take away short passes. That is ALL we have to do and the rest of the game will take care of itself. But will our D-Coordinator take away the short passes? (rolls eyes)

Atlanta beat the Niners because they ran the ball efficiently and scored TD’s not field goals. Niners defense was depleted but the Bears stayed with the run in the first game and eventually those 1-2 yard runs became 4-5 yard gains. The key to beating them has always been to play even or ahead of them. The Niners offense is tough to stop if they can continue to run the ball and especially tough when they are playing with a lead. Atlanta scored on their first possession going up 7-0. A Niners fumble that was returned for a TD made it 14-0. Niners got a couple of quick scores to tie the game but Atlanta scored late in the first half to go up 21-14 at the half. Falcons added another TD and went up 28-14 and the Niners were dead in the water. Jimmy G. is a pretty good QB when his run game is going and he can mix play action in but he’s a completely different QB when he’s in a must throw situation. Niners are banged up and now face the Chiefs. Rams will face them the week later and they should have a lot of their defense back. It’s going to be a tough game but one that the Rams need to win to get back into things. McVay’s offensive approach last game vs the Niners was terrible. Stafford’d ugly pick 6 sealed the deal. Defense kept the Rams in the game but was too soft. Getting the secondary players back is going to help. Pressure Jimmy G. and he will fold and turn the ball over. Must Win game for the Rams.

Easier said that done my bro.

F’n Morris played our guys off 8-13 yards every play vs the Ninnies. However, I’m optimistic that after the Panther game he remembers that he can be successful running a cover 3 with younger inexperienced guys.

Also, I’m worried asf with our O line vs their dline and blitz packages with our shuffle king and 6th string guys lol

My key to the game, If McVay can get our O going and we get up on them first by 10 points than that puts the game in GrabaPoles hands and he can’t beat us like that.

Love that movie, once I saw the movie I couldn’t go back to watching the tv show. It was dirty, raunchy, and definitely not pc but funny as hell. After watching Sutherland as Hawkeye Alan Alda was annoying.

I couldn't find the scene on UTube where they injected the opposition player who they got on the ground, thought that might be fitting in our desire to take the 9'ers down for a historical victory.

They had two good offensive plays against us last game...our defense will be fine against them.

We need Nick Bosa to not play....then we'll be good

I think beating the 9ers is more about gameplanning than their guys being better than ours. They consistently lose to mediocre teams and do every well in their own division. I personally think shanahan has mcVays number. He knows how to beat Morris defense and he knows.jow to beat mcVays system. In order to beat the 9ers the Rams have to get out of their comfort zone.

We played mostly single high against the Panthers iirc bringing Ramsey up to cover the flats
