"The Gateway to the West became the Gateway to the best football team in the world!", Mike Bush with the radio call.

Still gives me chills to watch.

I didn’t actually believe he got him until the ref said the game is over. It was just so surreal after all those years of rooting, all those years of waiting to finally see them get to the top of the mountain. Even after that, it took a while for the disbelief to fully subside and the joy to fully kick in.

I do remember the next morning as well, a coworker walked into the break room and casually asked me how I was doing, and I replied “it’s the best Monday morning of my entire life!”

Love the play but couldn't stand that radio announcer. He was the gateway to the worst!

Happy Anniversary to our 1st SB winning team!

I was watching that last play through my fingers like a kid watching a scary movie. Then once I realized they won I jumped up and spilled my beer. LOL I remember it like it was yesterday.
Well you WERE 12 so….

I was BBQing for my SB party when Isaac caught the pass. I heard all my friends yell STU!!! I ran in just to see him cross the goal line. I must have watched that play 30 times that day. Turned out they were yelling BRUCE!!! :hmm:

To say that I was over the moon over this victory, would be an understatement. Especially after the 70's seven straight NFC west championships an no ring. But going back to the well of Super Bowl 34 seems to be more and more like Niners fans taking glory in their 90's Super Bowl wins. I call their Super Bowl wins the VHS era, but then I remember my Super Bowl 34 video is on VHS too.

I like taking glory in Super Bowl 56 and in the future Stafford Super Bowl(s)!

But, the difference is, we have won one in this century and they haven't. That's the hell we're giving 9er's fans. They have to get in a time machine to enjoy their last super bowl victory, and we don't!

I know. I'm just saying the Super Bowl 34 euphoria is dim for me, because I enjoy the Super Bowl 56 experience because it is so much more recent. Super Bowl 34 is like trying to enjoy an excellent quality cigar that became stale. I want the cigar that's just been rolled...

Easily one of the top 5 experiences of my life was being at the game. My sister in-law at the time was with the bank who did a lot of the Titans business, When they beat us in week 7 of the season she consoled me by saying "If we both get to the Superbowl I'll get you a ticket." True to her word, as soon as we beat the Bucs she called me and told me to pack my bags. Her bank got like 75 tickets and she got 4. Great seats too, 2nd section up from the field, row 1 (on the railing) about the 5 yd line. Unfortunatly the final drive ended up at the opposite end of the field. It would've been epic if it would've been at our end!! Ticket price was an insane.....$400 :laugh3: Compared to $1800 for the 2018 SB (from the Rams as a season tix holder), that were the shittiest seats in the house.

Wow, that's awesome. you would have been on the end where Bruce and Holt scored touchdowns at least right? If my thinking is correct.
