Up early to watch the game in Korea!

10am start here and I’m WFH. Might see if the Dodgers can play all games from Seoul.

It was 3am for us which is just an hour before I wake up in the morning so no big deal. Got to watch half of it

Yeah it works for me, I'm up early for the Premier League

I wonder if Yamamoto is still tipping his pitches because he got hit hard in his debut.

Maybe he needs to go talk to the SD pitcher to find out a way to stop it.

One inning. 5 earned runs. Ouch! I wonder if he's ever had this kind of outing in Japan? An even more pressing question, is MLB going to be that much harder for him to solve than Japan was?

Well 2 pitchers that I had huge question marks going into this year had crappy performances

Grove and Freyerson (sp)

I hope they can turn it around

I hope this betting scandal with Ohtani's interpreter doesn't snowball into a bigger mess for him and the team. They said he used Ohtani's money to pay off 4.5 million in gambling debts. He first said Ohtani paid them off for him. Then he changed and said Ohtani wasn't aware. I hope it really was the latter. I don't know how MLB would feel about it if Ohtani paid his friend's gambling depts off for him.

Not sure it's a problem if the gambling debts were not from betting on baseball. However, if it was baseball, then that is a whole other problem.

Man... I had no idea interpreters made so much money.

It was obviously not the interpreter racking up 4.5 MILLION in gambling debts. Now anything is possible, but illegal book makers (that's what this is) usually don't give that amount of credit to just anybody.

Yeah that is a lot of money for a gambling problem. And you are right that there is no way that the interpreter accrued that much debt.

The interpreter is most likely trying to cover for Ohtani.

I see a suspension coming.

The bookmakers lawyer said her client had no contact in any way with Ohtani. As did the interpreter. But how does someone pile up 4.5 million in bets? Ohtani's financial advisors didn't catch anything? I hope its as simple as that. But I fear while Ohtani may not have been betting he mighta helped his friend out with the debts. I don't what that would mean if that was the case.

Am I the only one who gets emotional and nostalgic while hearing Vin Scully?

I remember you could ride a bike down any street and someone would have the Dodger game on with some AM radio in their garage or something…

“It’s time for Dodger baseball”

Gets me every time
I can load up a random Vin video every day and be a happy man.
