I'm tired of seeing the Lions and Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Would be a nice change to see the Rams get a game on Turkey day.

Von's a good option to break Noteboom in too. After facing him the rest of the season will be a breeze.

Looking at the parallels

McVays first year with a QB for the Rams

First year - Rams lose five games but win the division. Rams beat the Colts, Jaguars and Texans both years. Rams faced defending NFC champ from the NFC South in the playoffs. Rams have the offensive player of the year.

Second year with QB - Rams open against the Raiders in primetime.

So clearly it will be the Raiders.

A reddit post says the following is leaked/confirmed

Week 1: Bills @ Rams, 8:15 PM, NBC (Kickoff game)

Week 9: Rams @ 49ers, 4:25PM EST, FOX

Week 12: Rams @ Packers, 8:20 PM EST, NBC (SNF)

Week 17: Broncos @ Rams, 4:30 PM EST, CBS (Christmas Day)

Week 18: Rams @ Seahawks, 4:05PM EST, FOX

So NFC North and AFC West?

I could see us dropping some games there but fairing much better than Seahawks, Cardinals and 9ers

More I think about this the more I want the Bills. Rationale is McVay tends to get better with more looks vs that opponent. He will out-adjust them. Just look at the 9ers games last year, we played them 3 times and each game the Rams improved.

So give us the Bills. Von gets his ring with the Rams. Crazy insane week one matchup. And McVay can get his mind working on adjustments for when we see them again in the big one.

I believe our opening week record with McVay is very good.

Yes it is and good chance we beat the Bills. But McVay getting an early look at them could be a good thing.
