Did I see all of the RB class again didn't do the agility drills? I've always been more interested in the splits on the 40 time and the 3 cone etc.

Yeah I think this Super Bowl run eliminated much of the combine excitement that we usually get. I didn't watch any of it just noticed it when I breezed NFL.com for a look.

This year we basically arrived in FA, it's right around the corner. I mean I didn't even watch the Senior Bowl which has become a staple for me, as I really enjoy the practice matchups and one on one drills they do.

Really hoping they slam dunk that third round pick this year. Yeah, I realize they probably trade down from it. But I want a guy with upper pick value who slides to them. Just don't get a guy who has a big injury history.

Same. But even a break involves me reloading RoD to stay updated. :laugh4:

For me at least t’s tough to get into the combine with the Rams first pick at the end of round three.
That's an oxymoron if I ever heard one lol. I didn't even realize it was this past week. :ROFLMAO:

I stop paying attention to the league this time of the year anyway. I need a break, and pointless rumors and overanalyzed pre-draft stuff is too much.
I tune in mostly in free agency and the pre draft visit rumors.

In a few weeks I like scanning the draft publications for mid round prospects now that the combine is over.

Yeah I don't watch college ball so I don't know any of these guys. Usually (or previously) I tune into the top guys that are projected for us to get, and watch their college highlights. I probably watched 'Tavon's Night' 50 times before his rookie season started lol. Now, I have no interest at all.

I'm always playing catchup on the draft prospects. Now, with no picks till round late round three I guess there is time to sort out the Rams possibles. Just caught some highlights on websites.

Yeah, I'm with those who have put the Combine on the Ho-hum boring list. But I did notice that one of the top rated QBs (K. Pickett) had a hand size of 8.5.
What do you guys think of this? Does this knock him down and mebbe even out of the First Round?

Heh...I remember the Jared Goff hand size wars. But at least he was a solid 9.1 or something. This Picket guy has hands about the size of Mike Vick if I recall.

Over the past 5 years, my interest in the draft has dropped dramatically. It’s amazing what post-season success can do for your priorities!

Well it is how well Les Snead & The Rams draft. Then again not having a top pick plays a bigger part of it as well.
Humphries vs, Tutu ? There were a lot of us that didn’t believe in the pick or the player at the center position.
Imo- I didn’t though think Austin Corbett was a center & The Rams we’re crazy to move him. Then Brian Allen only had 1 more season as well.
I didn’t like the Brian Allen pick at all.I liked John Sullivan & Austin Blythe as a backup.Thiught The Rams we’re good for another season & or develop a later round pick ?
I still think The Rams need a center & even Coleman Shelton proved he can play center. He is also a FA though & Humpries would have solidified the position even if he wasn’t a starter he would have known the offense & been looked up for another 3 seasons.

Les Snead found Ben Sko & Jacob Harris later in the draft last season & that does show us how good Les Snead(The Rams) can find players late.
We can look at The Brown Bro’s & Jones as well. Jake Funk is another special teams guy that might be an ok RB,but size will play a part of his limitations.
AJ Jackson going undrafted just shows how good this new Covid rule is for The NFL development of players.Having a bigger practice squad & allowing players to get game experience without penalty is GREAT for Young Players.

Yeah, not picking in the top 5 as we did for like 20 straight years, surely takes the luster out of the combine for me.

I happened to see some of the combine coverage and mcshay was gushing over the WRs and how fast they were. I’m not the biggest college fb guy but I hadn’t heard of these dudes and I wondered if any of them were actually good at football. Don’t we do this every year, isn’t Kupp exhibit A for the unimportance of 40 times?
